Bangkok Trip with my love ♥ Day 3 & 4

Hello good morning everybody :) It was our day 3 in Bangkok~ We had sufficient rest and was happy to dress up in couple shirts we bought yesterday. Hehe.

We had our breakfast provided by our hotel. They serve simple american style breakfast. We were able to choose a set each from the menu. The portion is rather small for a guy's intake :/ But there are free-flow breads, salad, cereals and drinks at the mini buffet counter. In overall the breakfast was yummy ^^ We regreted we werent able to have it yesterday since we went out too early before they start serving.

Today we were going to visit the temples along the Chao Phraya River. So we took the BTS and got down at Saphan Taksin station. The Central Pier is right below the station. There was a counter selling the boat ticket. One way is 40baht; One day pass is 150baht. You can ride any boat with the ticket. I heard that you can ride the orange flagged public boat with 15baht each way, we didnt ride it though. We planned to go Asiatique tonight so we bought the One Day passes.

The boatride map.
We got onto a blue flagged boat. There was a Thai tour guide inside the boat, speaking with a mic, explaining the buildings around us while the boat was moving. He was speaking english but it was hardly understandable with his strong thai accent. Haha. At this point of time we found the ticket booklet very useful and it was in english.

Ahh handsome boy xD
My face was puffy all the time ><
We left the boat at Wat Pho pier as our first stop. Walked for a little distance and here we reached! We bought the tickets inside for 100baht each and got a bottle of chilled water for free. The Reclining Buddha....

The temple's ceiling and wall architecture.

Inside the Wat Pho area.
After visiting Wat Pho, we went out and headed to the pier. On the way we were attracted by the street food again. We are Always-Hungry couple! Haha xD We found seats at a noodles stall and simply ordered 2 bowls. Noodles soup with chicken drumstick were served hot on our table. Unexpectedly, it was SOOO DELICIOUS!! I'm not bragging about it. Must try if you are there. We forgot to take picture of it T.T The stall owner is a chubby woman, sitting and cooking on her chair lol. Looks lazy but serves good food. Amazing.. haha. We just cant forget it. Will definitely go back for it.

After that, we took the 'cross-over boat' to the opposite for only 3baht. Wat Arun is just at the opposite.

You'll need to buy a 50baht ticket to enter closer into the temple.

My toes were painful that time, maybe I walked too much yesterday :( We didnt enter the temple. It was okay for me to just look it from outside. You can also go to the Grand Palace and Chinatown with the river boat. It was regretful because we didnt go to several places that we planned earlier. I wanted to eat seafood at Chinatown since I heard T&K Seafood is famous there! I also wanted to go Asiatique to see its beautiful night scenery. I should wear comfortable shoes and come to visit these places again next time :)

Then we returned to BTS and went to Terminal 21 shopping center. It is conveniently located at BTS Asok station. I saw it on TV first and it looks so unique with its Airport Theme. Every floor is designed with different Country style such as London and Tokyo. Many of my Fb friends also came here for a visit so I thought I must come here too.

We are at the London floor :)

In my opinion, there was nothing much to see here :/ I was excited at first and then my mood was going down when we walked more. They put efforts on designing the interiors but I just dont find them go well with the theme. I can see japanese store at London floor.. We went to bought some snacks at Tao Kae Noi Land at the LG floor.

We were attracted by the displayed crepes from Anoi. We couldnt resist dessert so we chose one for each ^^

All choices are so tempting :P
I chose the No.2 Hot pick - Green tea flavor ♥
Bf chose lychee flavor crepe.
We enjoyed the sweet desserts at water fountain.
Before we leave, we went to its food court at top floor to check out the food. There was no much food that I wanted to try. But at last we also bought some.

Fried oyster egg, Roasted duck noodles,
Rolled-rice noodles soup with pork offals.
Overall they were not delicious.. Or they dont suit my appetites. In conclusion, for me Terminal 21 doesnt worth a visit. Probably you can come here if you have extra time.

We went back to hotel after that. Since we cancelled Asiatique so we have plenty of time to rest. That night we went for shopping around our hotel area and had dinner at Platinum Mall.

Somtam with salted egg ● Stewed duck noodles
● Coloured noodles with coconut milk
I dont want upload my Tomyam seafood because it made me sore throat >:( Hng!

We bought new McD Shogun Pork burger and cocktail as supper. Count how many food we ate a day. Lol xD

SPY lime & mint cocktail.
Both of us dont drink alcohol usually.
Just try it for fun :)
McD Shogun pork burger. Delicious tasty yummy.

This was the end of our day 3. We were coming back Msia on the next day T.T Noooo~~~

In the last day morning, we packed our luggage and had breakfast at hotel. Oh ya, this hotel provides laundry service too. 100baht each laundry without folding and ironing. We also booked taxi to airport for 400baht at 12pm. So we still have time to go for our last shopping! Hehe XD

With around 5-10mins walk, we reached the Pratunam Market where they wholesales very cheap clothes. Mostly girl clothes. Girls will go crazy here. I think Pratunam market is more packed than Chatuchak. The shop owners are unpacking their stocks and alot buyers are carrying big bags. Most shops do wholesale which you need to buy more than 1 or 2 pieces to get really cheap price.

I bought several pieces of clothes and left there. I felt very uncomfortable because I'm already in sick. At 12pm we rode on our taxi. It only took half hour to reach airport! @@ We wandering around after checked-in our luggage. We went to eat again hahaha.

His seafood noodles with thick gravy.
Sick people ordered fish fillets noodles soup.
The meal costs us about 500baht D:

In the boarding room we went shopping again. I bought these at Naraya store.

Naraya wallets & makeup bag.

That's all of our 4D3N Bangkok trip. Most unforgettable experience was our tired legs. Tired until lazy to go for foot massage. We are lazy pigs xD Promise you next time we will go for a more relaxing trip. No more shopping shopping. Kesian nye ( ^-^)/(T_T) ♥♥

Goood morning ka~ It was only 5am in the morning and we already woke up to prepare for Damnoen Saduak Floating Market trip. On the previous day, we asked our hotel worker to book a taxi for us and we managed to negotiate the price to 1500baht round trip.

We departed at 6am and it took 1.5hours to reach. The taxi driver brought us to a pier called Coke Pier, instead of drop us at the market entrance itself. We knew that was a tourist scam! We refused to ride on their motorboat for 1000baht/pax and insisted to walked to the market by foot,  since the driver didnt want to bring us there.

Along the way I asked direction from the locals and reached to a junction after 1-2km. Luckily we saw motorbike taxi so we took it into the market for 20baht/pax for another 1-2km.

You can refer my hand drawn map illustration here haha. Roughly like this. But girls please dont walk without guy accompanied.

This is how we left the coke pier and walked to the
floating market by ourselves.
We finally reach the real floating market entrance!
We can see lots of paddle boats along the riverside. So we asked for the price and hop onto one for only 100baht/pax for half hour. I highly recommend you all to just ride for 30mins if you reach here early like us because the river traffic was smooth and we can eat anything we wanted on the boat. The time was more than enough.

Row the boat! Gogogo xD
Coconut icecream & Mango sticky rice.
Must eat in Thai!!

Souvenirs. Get them for better price, at other places....
'Farang' the westerners also came here early.
My boy eating kuey tiaw soup
30mins was over and we got down from the boat.
The paddler automatically asked tips from us.
Typical Thai tourism culture lol xD
After enjoyed the morning boat ride, we took motorbike back to the pier where our taxi driver was waiting for us. He was unhappy. Why? Because we made him lost his commission from the tourist scam :X It's up to you if you think you want to take the boat from pier, I just provide our way on how we can save 80% of the expenses. My money is for shopping & food, not for riding a motorboat... >< Anyway we reached our hotel safely and rest.

BTS route map.
In the afternoon we took the BTS from Ratchathewi station to Mo Chit station. It was easy except our hotel is really quite far from BTS. The Chatuchak Market is just right below the station. It was already so crowded!

The view of Chatuchak entrance when we got down from BTS.
It was already crowded! So excited XDDD

Chatuchak is a very HUGE market! It sells everything from food, clothing, souvenirs to pet accessories. We didnt have a map so we just simply walked around. If you fancy something then just buy it straight because I missed NB shoes as I thought I could find it back later T.T

First try the thai iced tea icecream ♥
Skewers everywhere. I just find its price board cute ^^
We stopped at a random stall to fill our hungry stomach and rest our tired legs. I think we were lucky because their foods were delicious! Or maybe any random food stalls also serves tasty food. Hehe ^^

Pork noodles.. yummy!
I really love Pad Thai ♥♥♥
The place was packed with people and everything. The weather was so hot the sun was burning my skin. Remember to wear comfortable clothes and slippers to here, and for girls please bring a big reusable bag to put all your gains teehee. Along the way we ate some tempting street food too.

Bf keep talking about grilled squids before we came.
Here we found it :)
We bought grilled pork and sticky rice. It was delicious!
Our Chatuchak haul!
I havent buy enough! Huhu
We shopped at Chatuchak for 4hours and our legs got so tired! Especially my dear bf :( Very kesian him when I think of it. Sorry ahbeng ♥♥ He was exhausted until didnt talk all the way back. Huhu..

Actually we planned to watch Siam Niramit Show that night. But we have to cancelled it since both of us already too tired. The show is quite recommended by travellers. You can buy the ticket online at hotels2thailand.com which is cheaper than other sources.

That night we went nearby our hotel to have dinner. We found this chicken rice stall and surprisingly it was good.

Chicken breast meat is soft and tender!
Decided to try it since they are sold everywhere.
Light taste of pomegranate. Its rich with vits.
Grabbed some snacks at 7-11.
Some special flavours only available in Thai ♡
We were going to Chao Phraya River boat ride on next day (Day3). Good night my love... Good night world..
